As part of our community engagement program this year, Buslink threw its support behind one of our drivers, Peter Kallenbach, who volunteered as a support person for a local Sunshine Coast all-female team participating in this year’s Great Endeavour Rally.
The 2019 Great Endeavour Rally was an epic eight-day 3,700km off-road trip, dubbed “the Gulf Trek”, which roared out of Bundaberg on Saturday 27 July and culminated in Townsville via the Gulf of Carpentaria, with most of the 150 vehicles making the finish with stories to tell!.
A charity motoring event, the Great Endeavour Rally has been raising much-needed funds for Endeavour Foundation for 32 years, with proceeds supporting people with disabilities to lead their best lives.
“Buslink transports many people with disabilities, so it was great for Buslink to be supporting the rally too,” Mr Kallenbach said.
Participants collectively raised over $333,000.00 for the Endeavour Foundation.
