A Proud History of Connecting Queensland Communities
For over 70 years, we’ve been at the heart of Queensland’s transport network. Under the CDC Queensland brand, we’ve united the best of our regional services to continue providing safe, reliable transport. Previously operating as Buslink, Young’s Bus Service, and Rothery’s Coaches, we’ve brought together decades of local expertise to serve the communities we’re so proud to be part of.
- Gladstone: for more than 20 years, we’ve served this region with school, urban, and charter services. Our fleet of over 30 buses runs around 150 services every day, driven by locals who care about the community.
- Rockhampton and Yeppoon: with over 70 years of service, we operate over 60 buses and run approximately 350 services daily, connecting schools, businesses, and local residents.
- Sunshine Coast: as the largest school bus operator in the region, we’ve provided school services for more than 20 years. Our fleet of 130 buses delivers over 300 services every day to families and students across the Sunshine Coast.

A New, Customer-Friendly Website
We’re consolidating our three current websites in Queensland (cdcqueensland.com.au, youngsbusservice.com.au and rotheryscoaches.com) into one (cdcqueensland.com.au). Our new website is designed with you in mind. Launching in December 2024, it will make it easier than ever to find information about school services, urban routes, and charter options across Queensland. With simple navigation and a user-friendly design, everything you need will be just a few clicks away.

A Fresh Look for Our Buses
In addition to the new website, you’ll notice some of our buses in Rockhampton and Yeppoon will be getting a fresh look. Over time, the Young’s Bus Service branded buses will adopt the CDC Queensland brand, aligning with our unified identity. The Rothery’s Coaches branded buses will stay the same.
