Overcrowding on Bus 32

As you may be aware, we have been experiencing an increase in passenger numbers on Bus 32. To address the current overcrowding issues, we will be making some changes to the route. These changes will affect students boarding the bus in Boyne Island and Tannum Sands and will take effect at the start of Term 2.

As of Tuesday 19th April 2022, Bus 32 will no longer be servicing the bus stops listed below:

These stops were added to Run 32 for Chanel students when there was the capacity for extra passengers. Now that this bus is over-crowded, we will be reverting back to the original timetable which has the run starting at Tannum Central and travelling into Gladstone via Old Tannum Road, Benaraby and Wurdong Heights.

The students currently using the stops mentioned above will now be required to travel on Urban Bus 550. The timetable for Bus 550 can be found below.

This change is essential to ensure all passengers have access to safe and reliable bus travel. Please ensure your child is aware of the changes to avoid any confusion when the change takes effect on Tuesday 19^th April 2022.
