CDC Queensland advises the removal of several pick-up and drop-off locations at former stopping points along three sections of its school bus route 442, effective from 17 November 2025.
Route 442 to/from Hill Street, Emu Park:
- All student passengers wanting to board or disembark School Bus Route 442 must utilise the official bus stop locations as indicated by the green ticks on the image below.
- The 442-afternoon service will no longer drop any passengers at the location marked with the red cross on the image below.
- Affected student passengers are encouraged to disembark at the official hail’n’ride bus stop in front of 47 Hill Street. Student passengers are reminded to stand where the driver can see you and hail your bus early, so the driver has time to stop safely.

Route 442 to/from Coorooman Creek Road near Budarick Road:
- All student passengers wanting to board or disembark CDC School Bus Route 442 must utilise the official bus stop location at Cawarral State School as indicated by the green tick on the image below.
- The 442 service will no longer pick-up or drop-off off any passengers from Coorooman Creek Road near Budarick Road as marked with the red crosses on the image below.
- Affected student passengers are encouraged to utilise the official bus stop at
- Cawarral State School, in both directions. Student passengers are reminded to stand where the driver can see you and hail your bus early, so the driver has time to stop safely.

Route 442 to/from Cnr. Mount Chalmers Road and Dairy Inn Road:
- All student passengers wanting to board or disembark CDC School Bus Route 442 must utilise the official bus stop location at Cawarral State School as indicated by the green tick on the image below.
- The 442 service will no longer be picking up or dropping off any passengers from Cnr. Mount Chalmers Road and Dairy Inn Road, as marked with the red cross on the image below.
- Affected student passengers are encouraged to utilise the official bus stop at
- Cawarral State School, in both directions. Student passengers are reminded to stand where the driver can see you and hail your bus early, so the driver has time to stop safely.
