Sunshine Coast School Bus Network Changes for Term 4 Effective Tuesday 6 October 2020

Commencing Tuesday 6 October, network-wide upgrades will be made to Sunshine Coast school bus services. These changes, to be applied to approximately 70% of current services, are aimed at enhancing the network in areas such as capacity (addressing overcrowding), on-time service, and the servicing of new estates and catchment areas.

The TransLink Journey Planner is currently being updated with the updated timetable. Visit translink.com.au for more information.

The timetable information including school route details is also available in our new website cdcqueensland.com.au

Buslink Sunshine Coast to become CDC South East Queensland effective 1 October 2020

Buslink Sunshine Coast Pty Ltd will also change its company name to CDC South East Queensland Pty Ltd effective 1 October 2020.  This change follows the acquisition of the Buslink Group in 2018 by one of Australia’s leading transport providers, ComfortDelGro Corporation Australia Pty Ltd (CDC).

CDC employs more than 4,000 employees with over 4,400 vehicles and operates across six states and territories in Australia. CDC is also one of Australia’s largest bus operators operating both urban and school bus services, as well as reliable charter services.

In addition to the change of company name, all Buslink buses will be rebranded to display prominent new CDC Sunshine Coast logos, featuring the orange and blue colour scheme of Buslink Sunshine Coast’s parent company.  The new livery will begin to hit the road from the start of Term 4. Sunshine Coast school bus drivers will also wear new CDC Queensland uniforms.
