Getting to Coolum State High School
Changes to some Sunshine Coast school bus services will be introduced from the start of Week 2 Term 2 on Monday 27 April 2026

Additional Information
From Monday 27 April 2026, 2 new limited express routes 5824PM (Coolum High to Mt Coolum) and 5834PM (Coolum High to Toolga Street) will operate.
Re: 5834 – The current driver of the current back up service will be operating the new 5834PM route. It is important to be aware that the 5834 does not follow the same path as the current back-up bus route path.
Re: 5824 will operate most of what the current back-up bus does, however, these new routes will not service Warran Road. Students for Warran Road will need to start catching 5841PM again.
These changes have a significant impact on the bus bay allocation as there will now be six buses in each wave. Please view the updated bus bay map here.
