Sunshine Coast School Bus Network Changes for Term1 Effective Wednesday 27 January 2021

Updated 25 January 2021: New school bus services to Palmview have been added to the below table. Run 5780 will now incorporate Palmview State School and Palmview State Special School. The addition of these services will see an adjustment to some collection and drop off times by up to 20 minutes for Chancellor State College, Chancellor Primary School, Matthew Flinders College, and Siena Catholic College. Effective Date: Wednesday 27 January 2021

Changes to select Sunshine Coast school bus services will be introduced from the start of Term 1 on Wednesday 27 January 2021.

The network updates are a continuation of recent upgrades aimed at enhancing services in areas such as capacity (addressing overcrowding), on-time service, and the servicing of new estates and catchment areas.

For detailed changes please see the table attached. Further information is expected to be published on the TransLink Journey Planner by mid-January 2021. Please check your school services prior to the start of the school year.

Two new routes to service new and existing areas:

Run 5738AM and 5738PM will be introduced to service new school, Baringa State Secondary College (opening for years 7 and 8 in 2021), and existing schools, Baringa State Primary School, Meridan State College and Unity College. This covers the catchment areas of Bells Creek, Baringa, Caloundra West, Little Mountain, and new estate, Nirimba.

Deleted route:

Run 5770PM will no longer exist at the end of Term 4. Affected schools, Chancellor Park State Primary School, Glenview Primary School and Meridan State College will be serviced through amendments to existing runs.
