November is Movember and Buslink staff across the Northern Territory and Queensland got behind this terrific initiative by participating in a number of supporting activities. The Movember foundation is a leading global organisation committed to changing the face of men’s health since 2003. Movember has funded more than 1,250 men’s health projects around the world, challenging the status quo, shaking up men’s health research and transforming the way health services reach and support men. The Movember Foundation focusses its support to fight prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.
Both Buslink and ComfortDelGro (who are the new owners of Buslink) put their support behind the Movember Foundation by adorning our buses across the country with sporty moustaches and hosting fund raising initiatives at our depots. Across the Northern Territory and Queensland staff raised in excess of $2000 for this worthy cause.
